The aims of the workshops are to increase confidence and motivation in young people through the medium of circus skills. These workshops take place mainly in schools and youth projects across West Cornwall. Within the school environment the workshops are held for one, two hour session after school, each week for a term, culminating with a performance for the rest of the school.
ACCREDITATION SCHEME: The Cirque du Ciel Accreditation Scheme recognises the achievements of young people taking part in circus skills training programmes. It is designed to be simple to apply, does not require evidence building, and is meant as a first step in accrediting personal and social development. |
